A sense of comfort and winking humor pervades Ghost Gallery; it's not so much a collection of tales told over an October campfire as it is a group of stories to be related on a summertime Saturday morning in a town library. Its actual historical value is suspect, but it evokes (in-)famous figures at almost every turn. This alone might guarantee our attention, even if the stories themselves weren't entertaining. Narrator Tom Willett has a relaxed style that, even if it occasionally makes it seem like he's lost his place in his narrative, is enjoyable. The ghostly accounts themselves run the gamut, as can be seen in the track list to the right--everything from Lincoln's ghost to a disappearing cafe to a mysterious staircase. None will keep you up nights (though a chill ran up my spine at the end of "The 3 Mummies"), but I they're good fun, and appropriate for kids and adults.
