I guess it appealed to someone's anal retentive sense of order to put similar sounds in tracks together, but it's a lousy way to make an album. Permit me to explain by way of example. The second track on this album is three minutes long, and is solely of people yelling and screaming. Track four is composed of dog barks that have an artificial undertone to them--they sound kind of like the probe in Star Trek IV: The Voyage Home. Other tracks feature banging and breaking noises, digestion from the inside, ludicrous "wolf" howling, and something that sounded like ghostly cows. Also featured is a dentist nightmare that didn't make me squirm, as the one in Scary Halloween did. Since it lacks track breaks to separate individual sound effects and doesn't reflect any effort to create an atmosphere or render a narrative, I'm struggling to find the point to this album.
