This is a rather pallid effort, to be sure, and not a horror film, however much the skeleton-scarecrow on the cover might indicate otherwise. Some of the acting is passable, and this might be of interest to Kim Cattrall fans as an example of her early work. Deadly Harvest's sole success is in its atmosphere--the filmmakers nourish a feeling of pervasive, haunting desolation. (1999/Feb 5, 2002)
