Gag. This movie looks like it cost about five bucks to make--it's revealed in everything about the production, from the bad directing to the silly effects to the laughably fake props. On the other hand, good concepts don't cost any more than bad ones, so if you're going to put together a movie, you might as well come up with some good ideas of your own. Or, barring that, at least don't copy from other films. This is essentially a Rosemary's Baby ripoff that shifts the action to after the kid's birth, then takes all style and narrative sense out of the picture. And where's all that damn mist coming from? According the the Internet Movie Database, the Witchcraft series leads back to a film known as La Casa 4, but it doesn't have the same story as Witchcraft, so I'm guessing they're not the same film. La Casa 4 (the followup to La Casa 3, better(?) known as Ghosthouse) also stars David Hasselhoff, who is nowhere in this film.
Followed by a slew of followup-cum-sequels: Witchcraft II: The Temptress, Witchcraft III: The Kiss of Death, Witchcraft IV: The Virgin Heart, Witchcraft V: Dance With the Devil, Witchcraft VI, Witchcraft 7: Judgment Hour, Witchcraft 8: Salem's Ghost, Witchcraft IX: Bitter Flesh, and Witchcraft X: Mistress of the Craft.
