July 2004 Meeting - Union League of Philadelphia

Our speaker for the July 2004 meeting was Jim Mundy, the Library and Historical Collections Director of the Union League of Philadelphia, the first such league in the country, founded by supporters of Abraham Lincoln in 1862.

Mr. Mundy spoke about the history of the organization, both how it was formed and how it evolved over time. He also provided his insight on the League's collections and let us in on the recent renovations and revitalizations to the League and its building.
